Buckaroo Launches Paying Attention: Payment deserves attention

Utrecht, October 10, 2024 - Buckaroo, one of the leading providers of payment solutions in the Netherlands and Belgium, today introduces its new brand promise: "Paying Attention." Because seamless and secure payments deserve focus. Through Buckaroo's emphasis on personalized service, businesses, governments, and online shops can select the payment solutions that best fit their strategy, customers, and organization.

 

With this new brand promise and accompanying visual identity, Buckaroo highlights that secure and smooth payments are not merely a technological issue; personalized service and engagement with entrepreneurs and businesses are equally important. Buckaroo has extensive service teams available both online and via telephone. For more complex payment issues, Buckaroo offers tailored advice and support.

 

In recent years, Buckaroo has grown significantly, both organically and through acquisitions. For instance, at the beginning of 2024, all point-of-sale contracts from ABN AMRO were acquired. Buckaroo now serves over 44,000 customers and by the end of this year will process nearly 1 billion online and offline transactions annually from both large corporate and SME clients in the Netherlands and Belgium. This year, Buckaroo became a partner of the ANWB for all payment solutions within their omnichannel strategy.

 

The collaboration with ANWB perfectly exemplifies the brand promise Paying Attention. “The foundation for this intensive collaboration is genuine focus and involvement,” says Kevin Wetzel, Head of Marketing at Buckaroo. “By carefully listening to ANWB's objectives and challenges, we were able to create a comprehensive payment solution. This includes online solutions, such as the newly launched ANWB Marketplace, as well as solutions for their physical stores and roadside assistance service with our new Tap-to-Pay option.” Today, ANWB and Buckaroo are jointly present at the e-commerce knowledge event Shopping Today, where they will elaborate on their collaboration.

 

As part of the new brand promise, an advertising campaign has also been launched. This campaign targets a broad business audience and includes a radio campaign, display advertising, social advertising, event sponsorships, and media partnerships. The campaign runs until the end of the year.
